Gonzalo Gianella Malca

Physician trained in internal medicine, intensive care, and pulmonology. Dedicates most of his time to patient care in both outpatient and hospital settings. Faculty member at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia School of Medicine. He worked for several years as a medical advisor for the Peruvian Ombudsman's Office and maintain ties with human rights organizations. Given the nature of his specialties, end-of-life issues are deeply significant to him. In Peru, he was part of the legal team that supported Ana Estrada in her battle to secure a dignified death.
