Javiera Paz Arenas Jiménez

Strategic designer with experience in service design and design research. For the past six years, I worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a specialized cancer hospital in New York. During this time in the healthcare sector, I developed a deep interest in the experiences of patients, their families, and medical teams regarding end-of-life care. I am passionate about normalizing conversations around death; consequently, I trained as an End-of-Life Doula through INELDA in July 2024, and for over five years, I have been facilitating "Death Over Dinner" conversations.
